Be part of our Studio Management Team!

Responsibilities //

Managing & Admin

  • Yoga schedule management: classes, workshops, appointments and room allocation
  • Input and keep organised and on top of information of classes, courses, workshops on our booking system and also to Facebook, our calendar and on Google.
  • Create and send a weekly 'trika at home' + 'at the studio' schedule for teachers
  • Write and update the desk team rota
  • Keep on top of our calendar + update with team and teacher holidays, cover, workshop dates, course dates
  • Update and organise yoga teachers: with class covers (last minute and future class covers), class confirmations, appointment requests and reminders, holiday / time off dates
  • Check in with teachers + desk staff on a regular basis, building / maintaining a strong relationship with the Trika group
  • Work closely with Charlene in developing the Trika schedule for the upcoming year
  • Be well versed in the studio booking system, how the Trika app works, and all our offerings as a studio- retreats, yoga classes, workshops, courses, appointments. (Training will be given!)
  • Manage customer queries on email, phone, Facebook and Instagram
  • Schedule and confirm bookings for all appointments: yoga 1:1s, group privates and massages
  • Update the Trika website information where needed
  • Keep tabs on and update our stock for merchandise for the physical studio shop and online stores
  • Take payments on the desk
  • Liase with MoveGB and maintain correct scheduling between our system and theirs for classes, workshops and courses
  • Outline studio procedures and roles to the desk team, teachers and any work exchange people we have in
  • Be well versed in our studio policies for customers
  • Organise bookings for our retreats and answer customer queries about them
  • Update Trello with current / ongoing tasks and delegate tasks to the whole team
  • Work with Charlene in brainstorming, organising and actioning plans for the studio in the present and for future plans


Trika at Home classes

  • Create livestream links ahead of time for sheet and movegb
  • Check livestreams and ensure they’re functioning optimally
  • Be able to troubleshoot issues with our streaming function and guide teachers through any glitches
  • Manage customer issues that arise
  • Be efficient and quick at contacting customers and teachers if any issues arise to resolve them


At the studio classes

  • Greet and sign in clients to classes
  • Create a friendly, welcoming, warm atmosphere for everyone who comes in
  • Manage waitlists for in person classes
  • Stay on top of a clean and tidy workspace and any additional light tidying around the studio where it is needed before and after classes.
  • Be well versed in our shop and studio offerings to chat and recommend suitable classes to our customers
  • Organise external cleaners and window cleaners


Social Media

  • Write and schedule regular posts for Trika Yoga and Trika Retreats via a central platform
  • Reply to messages on Instagram and Facebook
  • Share stories and promote events via Instagram, Facebook, Google

• An organised, meticulous person who likes to work efficiently and has a good eye for detail
• Be able to think quickly on your feet to quick changing circumstances, in a calm manner
• Friendly, approachable and enjoys working with a team and with people
• A quick, enthusiastic learner
• Proactive and enjoys coming up with ideas and solutions
• There is no need to be extremely knowledgeable or with any particular expertise about Yoga, but an enthusiasm for Yoga is desirable!
• An understanding of Trika’s concept and mission!


Position //

• Employed Part time (26 hours a week, Sunday to Tuesday)
• To start mid-May, which includes 2 weeks training with our team
• Initially a 3.5 month contract, with outlook to extend further! (A high chance that the position will continue beyond 3.5 months, and we will be able to let you know at the end of July if this is the case)
• Salary £20,800 pro rata
• Holiday 28 days pro rata
