AT THE STUDIO FAQ
For At the Studio classes
You are welcome to use our mats and props. However, if you would prefer to bring your own, please do. We have some for purchase if you need one, here or at the studio shop.
Class Etiquette
Do take your spot in one of the spaces in the room. Pease leave coats, bags and belongings at the changing rooms at the back.
Class Policy
Do turn up early for your class. If you are not here at least 3 minutes before the start of your class, sometimes we make the call to prioritise people on the waitlist or those that are physically at reception. Your space may be given to them. In this case, your pass will be used as though you have attended.
Please see below for our contact if you need to ask us to hold the space for you.
Please turn up with enough time to enter the studio, change, and be prepared for your class for the class start time. Please note that arriving on time is your responsibility and we cannot be faulted for your personal extenuating circumstances.
Please note on occasion the door may be locked once class time has begun, namely for the early morning 7am and the 7.15am classes, and the 8.30pm classes as we don't have reception staff running at these times. If you are not on time you may run the risk of the door being locked. Please understand that we are not responsible if you are late for your class start time.
If you know you are unable to make your class, email or text us at contact@trikayoga.co.uk or 07447987262, so we can make room for others to attend the class.
If you know you are able to make your class but are simply running late, do contact us with the email or number above if you want us to hold the space for you. Please note that we try our best to ensure you get your class spot, but sometimes if you are running late and for early morning or late night classes where the door is locked, we cannot be responsible if you do not manage to attend on time.
Cancellation Policy for Classes

PRACTICAL QUESTIONS
What do I need to bring?
Bring yourself! :) We have mats at the studio so you don't need to bring that, unless you'd like to use your own. If you tend to get cold, do bring socks and a jumper for the rest at the end of the class.
Am I too inflexible to do Yoga?
Do not worry about this at all - Yoga practices are for you to feel comfortable in yourself, wherever you are at at this moment. Flexibility also will gradually change over time, but this is definitely not the sole aim of a Yoga practice. Simply come as you are and explore it at your own pace.
How often do I need to practice?
We love our individual everyone is, and this applies to your Yoga practice too. Everyone has different life circumstances and schedules, and your Yoga practice is best practiced in a way that supports other areas of your life.
Do I need to chant om?
This is completely up to you - some of our classes include chanting 'om' or other Sanskrit chants, but it is entirely up to you if you'd like to join in or not!
How is Yoga different from stretching?
Yoga goes beyond stretching or exercise by combining movement with breath, mindfulness, and nervous system regulation, which aim to support physical and mental wellbeing.
